I am a North Carolinian with Pharaonic Egyptian Roots. Following my passion to work in
the dental field, I attended Vernon College to complete my coursework to become a registered dental assistant. I joined Dr. Shen's team in 2017. I enjoy working along side Dr.
Shen, and love working with patients of all ages. I truly care about the wants and needs of each patient and always do my best to help wherever needed. My favorite part of Orthodontics is
seeing the patients' reaction to their new smiles after treatment.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling and
working out at the gym.

Born and raised in Southern California but relocated to Dallas in 2006, I started my dental career as an assistant in 2003 and joined Dr. Shen’s team in 2015 where I assist Dr. Shen to achieve the best possible smile for her patients. The best part about my job is that every day I get to see the confidence that a wonderful new smile can build. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and taking mini vacations.

Coming from a family of 7 (3 sisters and 1 brother), I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I attended Richland Colleyiate High School, Collin College, and University of Texas in Dallas. I joined Dr. Shen's team in 2015 where I work at front desk. I truly love to greet and establish close rapport with patients! I love so much about dentistry that I am working towards my RDA license and hygienist program. In my spare time, I love to go out with friends, watch movies, and try different kinds of food! And I dabble in a little bit of singing.
My name is Emily Cruz,
I am from a small town, Farmersville TX. I started working in a family business when I was 15 years old. Once I graduated High School in 2018, I wanted to start my dental career right away because I always have a passion in dental field. In the fall, I attended Collin College in McKinney, TX to become a Registered Dental Assistant. I happily joined Dr. Shen's team after I gradudated from Collin College. I really enjoy working with a team that is well organized and outgoing.
In my spare time, I love to go shopping, hang out with my friends, and spend quality time with my family.
